While growing up in South London around sisters who immersed themselves in the arts, I developed a deep desire to be a songwriter and entertainer. After moving to the US my dream became reachable. I attended Deer Valley High School in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area in which I became heavily involved in music programs, joined and taught choir and performed weekly in a local fish shop. I started to record music under the provision of Disney Music executive, Alyssa Talovic, while attending CSU-Northridge. After I earned my Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing, I released my first single. While living in LA, I worked alongside recording artists such as Taio Cruz, Flo-Rida and Akon and even snagged a commercial with Amber Rose. In 2016, I performed with Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards. 6 months after performing with Beyonce, I was called by Saint Heron to perform with Solange at the Guggenheim Museum for the Red Bull Music Festival. I’ve been featured in advertisements for notable brands in various markets from Chevrolet to Sephora. In 2016, I sang the jingle for Dark & Lovely’s Fade Resist commercial. In January 2017 I filmed a commercial alongside Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe for Pantene Pro-V and was named the first woman with dreadlocks to star in a major hair care campaign and the first for the brand in general. I have had my records placed in TV and Film as well. In 2016 “We Are Not Alone featuring Kimmy”, a single from her Forward Movement Only album, was placed in MTV’s The Real World Television Series. “Want You”, also a single from the same album placed in the 2015 drama Phantom Halo which starred X-Men actress Rebecca Romijn.
