On stage, G’Zay is an intimate, compelling performer, who has made a name as one of the most energetic upcoming Kenyan artists.
G'Zay as also worked as a producer with some of the biggest african names such as KING KANJA, STELLA MWANGI, WONDABOY, SILVASTONE & THE LATE SHREKEEZY being the brain behind production of their song DOWN FOR MY CITY. He will mix in traditional tunes with his own contemporary Afropop rhythms and bring a synthetic feel in his music. His humorous tales of life on the road and observations of everyday people provide an entertaining blend of story and song. “I have always wanted to bring something of value to East Africa with my songs. I think that is important, to try to write beyond myself, to write and produce the quality they are doing in New York right here in Africa.” For G’zay, that is what AfroHip music is all about--a music rich in quality and content.
