I began my career as a Sound Engineer for the likes of Go West and Imagination to name a few. Craving new challenges I headed out to the world and worked as Producer, Co-Writer and Engineer for a number World Music labels including Gallo Record Company, BMG and EMI, and had the opportunity to work with many major Music Artists and Producers including Mahlathini and Mahotella Queens, Peter Gabriel, The Art of Noise, Tony Visconti, West Nkosi, Norman Cook, Brenda Fassie, Umoja, Om Alec Khaoli, Chicco, Chimora, The Dalom Kids, Splash, Lucky Dube, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, V Mash and many others, leading me to go on to achieve numerous Platinum and Gold Album awards.
When returning to the UK I took up head of Production at MAP Music, where work in the studio featured Artists and Producers including The Ordinary Boys, Ms Dynamite, Roots Manuva, Junior Delgado, Guy Evans (Van Der Graff Generator) Tymon Dogg (Joe Strummer) Lee Stone(Pharoahe Monch, P Diddy) and Jah Wobble to name a few.
I am the Course Manager and Principal Lecturer at IMW in London, where I teach and manage in the knowledge and skills associated with Music and Sound Production.
I have also over the years been extensively involved in Composing, Producing and Sound Designing numerous Film, Advertising and Television Soundtracks, including feature Films and TV series for the BBC, Film 4 and ITV.
