    Close to the Sun are a dynamic Sydney-based indie folk duo. Melding acoustic, classical, electric, bass guitar and percussion we write honest, heartfelt and uplifting songs. The band’s debut release in - the atmospheric and raw Watch You Fly - has received radio play around Australia along with the follow-up single Dog Leg. In the lead-up to Christmas - the band released the double A-side holiday song Absent Angel with guest vocalists Pat Powell, Taya Chani, Alexie Pigot and Michelle Benson. In 2019 Close to the Sun released the enigmatic new track Malekeh - full of mystery, intrigue and haunting acoustic lead. Close to the Sun are Ed Jackson & JP Vernon.
