When did music first speak to you? For young Wellington rockers Bakers Eddy, it was as teenagers. Inspired by 90s/2000s rock, the foursome practiced together relentlessly. With Foo Fighters, Shihad, The Mint Chicks and The D4 as references, they became a polished band of entertainers. Over the last three years, Bakers Eddy has built on their talent and dedication, establishing themselves as perhaps the most in-demand young rock band from the capital in the process. They've toured throughout New Zealand and Europe, scored radio support from The Rock FM and Radio Hauraki, and in 2015, won The Battle of The Bands, all the while cultivating a loyal following. Dedicated and professional, their music is all lean muscle. Welding infectious melodies to classic rock themes, ascendant guitar riffs and sing-along group vocals - live and recorded - Bakers Eddy is making a significant impact on the New Zealand rock music scene.
