Aviva Scheier (artist name Avaya) is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in Israel. Avaya pulls from a variety of different influences for her music, blurring the lines between genres such as dark pop, alternative, folk, and classical. Avaya was trained in classical music and vocals for 10 years, including 3 years where she studied at The Music Conservatory of Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She has performed at countless venues across Israel and the US, and her Youtube channel has amassed over 1,000,000 views. She now produces and records her own music as well as music for other artists from her home studio in Israel.
