  • About

Citing influences that include The Dead Boys, Johnny Thunders, and The Ramones, Jimmy Flame describes himself as "a hot-like-fire rock 'n' roll machine." Born in Baltimore, Maryland, and based out of Seattle, Washington (from 1995-2017), Flame has also composed pro wrestling entrance music for the likes of Kevin Sullivan, Brutal Bob Evans, and Wildman Kongo. After cutting his teeth in the local music scene in Baltimore, Flame relocated to Seattle in the mid-'90s and founded the SexXy Boys. Employing a high-energy mix of hard rock, post-grunge, and punk, Jimmy Flame & the SexXy Boys brought their bar band aesthetic to clubs across the country, landing an underground hit in 1999 with the gritty full-length Greg Clark-produced "Feelin' like a fi-dolla' bill" and 2005’s Kurt Bloch-produced full-length "It's After Sick" released on AMP Records, alongside the vinyl-only 45 Ends Like This released on Out of Tune Records. Currently a solo artist, Flame remains prolific in today's music scene.
