HIghlights: Josie declined a 10 yr Christian Artist management deal at 22. She started writing pop songs at 26. Was told she was gifted to be a successful singer/songwriter by the Head of Publishing at Elektra .
Josie switched to Country and had songs signed by top ten Country Artist Don King's publishing company and had a Billboard Recommended Country Single within four years of writing her first song.
Two years later working with multi ASCAP award winning songwriter Charlie Fields publishing company she charted a song on Cashbox #84.
She was offered a recording contract and song contracts by 5-time International Director of the Country Music Association, Canadian Hall of Fame Artist and Songwriter Gary Buck.
Josie took a hiatus from music as a Morning Radio Co-host where one of her songs was used as a station jingle. And she produced the Coca-Cola Tru Value Hardware Country Music Showdown talent show for 3 years before leaving music to concentrate on her family.
